Post  Andrei Darusenkov on Mon May 30, 2011 8:49 am

This week there is an exhibition in Moscow Timiryazev Museum offered by a few members of the National Bonsai Club including myself. Most of the exhibits - yamadori found by ourselves domestically in the last few years... Some of the pictures from the exhibition attached Smile

Cheers,
Andrei

Hi Andrei,

There are some great trees shown here, and the display lighting looks superb. Can you tell use the species?

regards

Good job. I really like the forest.

I am surprised to see only one conifer.

Tony, thanks! The trees in the order shown are oriental hornbeam, wild apple, oriental hornbeam, common oak, pseudocydonia, wild apple, hawthorn on the left and trident maples on the right, Siberian ficus (Ficus pumila)Smile, elm, elm, hawthorn on the left and white cedar on the right., red currant, oriental hornbeam, lilac (S. meeri). Rob, ironically so far we failed to find high quality conifer material.Smile In addition to the white cedar we only had a larch and a small spruce at the exhibition. Best, Andrei
