I'm not much help that way!
But I know a nice quality pot when I see one!... 
I would duck tape holes and fill it with sand,
and use as a really nice doban for a suiseki!
Just saying...

I am no expert, but the '0' next to the stamp makes me think that it could be from a production line... maybe Chinese. Having said that, I actually like the look of the pot; it has very clean lines on a dark, shallow pot.

I think a broom zelkova will look nice in it.
