Serissa - snow rose - testing lighting

Post  Khaimraj Seepersad on Sat Nov 24, 2012 3:30 pm

Working on mounds and thought it might be interesting to test the lighting to bring out the mounds.
As usual feel free to comment yay or nay.
Enjoy,
Khaimraj

Light from the East [ 45 deg. angle ] no mounds next shot to come over head light.

I like very much this tree, its very delicate one. the light.... the light is not optimal, for better photo you need to use some others photography tools.

thanks,

The first one gives a lot more depth to the image, and creates better light on the branching underneth the canopy. Would prefer the 45degree illumination.

Hi,

From photography aspect, its not improvement.
ALL the trunks and the branches above it are in shade.
All the base of the trunk as well.
You need to use 2-3 of light sources to achieve very good pic.
But .... keep trying ..... ThumbsUp
