good work so far
Looks like a perfect tree for some detail wiring, the style in place is interesting
maybe a nice stout semi cascade pot would give it a stable base...next potting

At the moment you seem to only be considering the front and the back based on the way the tree is currently potted. There are the 45 degree angles to look at, the ends as well. I do like the apex to come towards the viewer too - it adds depth to the design and stability to the tree, but that can easily be bent over once the best front is found.
my feeling is the best front hasnt quite been found yet.

thanks all for the help and advice. I am still exploring all possible front for the tree from all angles.
Marcus you are right about the 45 degree angle, it does look more promising
the next stage is to look for a suitable pot in the near future....any recommendation about pots??
