prunus mahaleb graft prunus kojo no maï
Progression off my tree since 4 years.
prunus mahaleb yamadori, in 2009, then, approch grafting with young plant in platic pot , prunus kojo no maï, pink flowers , repoting in 2012 in a pot off René LECOQ, belgium.
variety kojo no maï is growing very slowly, but, with tthe graft, the graft takes advantage of the charactéritics off prunus mahaleb.

Great tree and an excellent idea to graft Kojo no mai onto the Mahaleb trunk.
I have a couple of Kojo no mai myself and I like them a lot. They reliably produce masses of blossom in the spring and even give good autumn colour (most years) but I've never seen one with a decent trunk. Even grown in the ground they seem to be more of a shrub than a tree.
Regards
Richard

It looks like someone took a bite out of your tree ![Very Happy](https://2img.net/i/fa/i/smiles/icon_biggrin.png)
Nice tree, great idea to combine these two!
