New! New! New! at The International Stone Appreciation Symposium
A Reminder: the 6th Biennial International Stone Appreciation Symposium Oct. 4 - 7, 2012
Harrisburg-Hershey Holiday Inn, Grantville, PA
It is now confirmed, the Special Exhibit for 2012 will be a selection from the most famous Chinese scholar's rock collection in the world. Portions of Richard Rosenblum's (of Worlds Within Worlds fame) scholar's rock collection will be exhibited at ISAS 2012 by his daughter Anna Rosenblum. She owns the balance of that collection not dispersed to museums, and it still contains a vast number of fine quality stones, assembled by Richard with Anna's assistance.
Symposium includes the peerless Seiji Morimae, the incomparable Kemin Hu, Anna Rosenblum (Richard’s daughter), plus many other interesting programs on Korean suseok, accent plants with stones, art and history of incense, & more. This is where the people who share our passion for stones meet, renew their rocky relationships and build new ones. Includes 3 exhibits (one for a stone from each registrant), critiques, workshops, vendors, banquet, auction & lots of fun! All while learning more & more every day! If you are crazy for stones you must come and join others similarly afflicted.
Think stones!
Mark your calendar & save these dates!Registration is required to attend this symposium.
Please inform us of address/email + new friends of similar interest and you will receive more information as it’s available.
