a year to the day

i find it unbelievable a year has past since we saw the images of the horrendous tidal wave and the following period of concern with the power plant and devastation to the coast of japan.

the scale of those events are almost beyond modern day comprehension - 19,000 people lost or killed. it kind of keeps everything else in perspective that happens around the world in the average day. We were driving all day today but did spend a quiet moment in thought.

and two days later another 6.? quake in the northern part of Japan. Have not heard recent news broadcasts but imagine there is damage.
