Examples of Jasminum officinale
If anyone has any examples of common jasmine, I would enjoy seeing them. Thanks in advance....

Here is a link to my home clubs local show in it there is a confederate jasmine cascade from one of our members. The flowers and smell are outstanding.

Seconded. A friend has a large one they are wanting to part company with.

Thanks for the link, Mitch....nice trees...I enjoyed yours very much. I recently acquired a small triple trunk jasmine that I started work on. It is nice to see one in full flower. Thanks again.

As an FYI...
If this is what you're looking for it's Trachelospermum jasminoides, not Jasminum officinale.

Thanks, Russell....the jasmine that I am working with is a Jasminum officinale...I appreciate the catch.

That's interesting. Have you been able to develop any kind of a trunk? How big is it?

Re: Examples of Jasminum officinale
Actually, I don't think it is looking too bad...I cut it back hard just recently, so right now it is a bit thread bare...it is a triple-trunk, about 12 inches in height...trunk caliper at the soil line is about 2 inches.

Wow, post a picture when you can. I've never seen this used as bonsai material. What did you start with?

Re: Examples of Jasminum officinale
I will do so, Russell...glad to...actually I acquired the tree from our University greenhouse... it recently underwent a lot of remodelling...cuttings were taken from many of the older specimens at that time to make some more room....I was lucky enough to pick up some good stock, and the jasmine was among them.
