Pinus sylvestris yamadori - preparation in 2011 - first styling 2012

Hi all
Pine collected in spring 2008.

An interesting tribe has one big flaw. The long straight branch carries a crown out of the tribe. All improved the quality of a bend. I worked from mid-August 2011. I made a bend in the course of a month. The tree is ready for the first styling.

Amazing transformation Pavel, that is some serious bending.. no joke!

Very nice as usual Pavel! Do you do all the bending by yourself or do you have help? Just curious...

Yes, I work alone bends. You need to prepare well, have the necessary preparations. Choose a good workflow. Then it is not difficult.

Then that's an even more incredible transformation that you've done to this tree, and many others. I bet half the battle is keeping the tree in it's pot, and on the table! Nice to know though that something like this can be a one person job...if you know what you're doing lol

Thanks for the update Pavel.
I see that in this case you styled/wired your tree in Feb/March and the wire was still on in your May 2012, so when did you take the wire off?
I also noticed that the tree lost much of its upright appearance in the March 2013 before photo, are you sure that it canl hold this shape?
