Bonsai Bash in Florida

Greeting Friends. You're invited to a Bonsai Bash on February 19, 2012.

A fun bonsai event at the Old Florida Bonsai Nursery in Vero Beach.

Don't miss the raffles and the amazing BarBQue to be served.

Grand Raffle will be a finished Ficus Bonsai in a Dale Cochoy pot, valued at $1,000.

There will be Dueling demos between local artists, including Richard Turner, Jim VanLandingham and yours truly.

See the casual bonsai exhibition of fine trees from the Treasure and Space Coasts.

Proceeds will benefit BCI, Bonsai Clubs International.

Mmm....that looks like a great time. If I wasn't in the middle of coaching basketball I'd be tempted to check on a flight...

It should be an awesome time. I am really glad that someone took the time showcase the amazing local artist that we have down here. It is nice to see our local artist being in the spotlight and what better way than a bash for one of the pioneers of bonsai, Jim Smith.
