Mini greenhouse, yay or nay?

Sorry for all the random questions! Just wondering wether or not my newly acquired chinese elm and bhuddist pine (Podocarpos Macrophylla) would do well spending the years tucked up in a mini greenhouse?

They can go into a mini greenhouse to overwinter but are much better off out in the sun until the first frosts.
