Lovely trees - Wrightii can be considered the tropical version of the Japanese Maple. Nice bark, paired branches but with the added benefit of beautifully scented flowers.

How to get such intricate ramification though? Mine struggles to get that. How many different varieties are there?

Thanks for asking...In Malaysia there are more than fifteen known varieties...The best variety with white bark, round leaves and many flowers is much sought after but is really hard to get....Some have layered flowers like tiny white roses..some have naturally rough dotted barks...

Cantik Sekali! Malaysia Anting Putri (Wrigthia) pohon adalah nomor satu! Pohon yang baik membutuhkan waktu, teknik dan pupuk!
Teknik ini mirip dengan yang digunakan untuk beringin Taiwan. (Amazing! Malaysian Wrigthia is number one. Good trees require time, technique and fertilizer. Shaping technique of this tree is similar to the one used in Taiwan to shape ficus)
