Winter is here again
I'm leaving for a week in Hawaii this Friday. I've checked the long term forecast for my area and I'm concerned about my trees. The high temps are going to be in 30 to 40 ish ranges with night temps 20 to 30. My question is how long will trees be safe with frozen pots and probably not my thawing during the day. Should I bring them into the garage or just be brave?

If I were going on vacation to Hawaii (ha!)
I'd bring them in so I don't have to worry about them. Vacation should be worry free.

As long as your trees are hardy, they should not be thawed out. It is better if they stay frozen all winter. Put them in the garage to protect them from rain, wind, & extremes. You will have to put them back outside in March when the garage starts to heat up.
