First winter....
not quite sure how things work on this site, so I am just kinda winging it. I guess mostly wanted to share with you all my first winter with my bonsai family. Today I set up a grow lamp I purchased from from BonsaiBoy. Really easy and nice to look at, as grow lights go. Yesterday we dug a three foot deep winter chamber for the Hardiers. I have been agonizing over the best way to protect my babies over the sometimes harsh New England winter. I too purchased a large plastic storage container with a lid that I plan on placing the plants into to further protect them. I am sure the tropicals are going to love the new grow light and I can hardly wait to see what the spring holds. Any of my bonsai buddies have suggestions, comments, I would love to get to know you.
