Hippophae - 2007
Hi all
I would like to show you the tree (initially rest tree) not much used.
In February 2007, I phoned a friend. He said that the estate disposed of several large trees. Trees of the pulling tractor country. I took home about 120 cm long trunk with a few roots.
At home I have a tree planted in a large container. In the spring, the tree began to grow. In the spring of 2008 I worked for Air-layer of strain. Cutting tribe I worked in April 2009. Now in the autumn that I first worked on dead wood and branches bend, the future crown. Dead wood should be smoother in the future. As I see the original old Mume with dead wood on the trunk, as if bunjin - tree.

Very good work -- especially to save a downed tree.
Bending that thick branch looked like a chore.
Has it flowered for you yet?
Are you going to use the base also after separating the air layer?
Have a great Christmas and New Year.
PS Didn't we just see a thread like this involving an oak tree in Florida?

Thank you very much Rob.
This tree is male. In the spring I want to buy in horticulture female. Then see if the fruits.
Unfortunately, the basis of the tree about half a year after disconnecting died.
I hope that Oak in Florida will be much better.
You and your family wish you Merry Christmas and a wonderful new year 2012. A lot of joy with your trees.

*shaking my head in disbelief* Wow pavel....I love how inspiring your picture stories are. Makes me think I am walking by amazing potential bonsai many times a day without realizing it. Thanks for taking the time to post this.
