I am in recovery mode and will post a some photos later... just to say this: Burrs had participants from England, Scotland, Wales, Holland, Czech Republic, Germany and Slovenia. The fun that we all had, the trees that were created and the friendships made will stay with us all for a long time.
The Date for 2012 is 09/10/11 of November Confirmed Visiting Artist for Next Year is (By very popular demand) Hans van Meer. You have seen Hans great work here on IBC, get to meet him in person and witness just how talented Hans is by booking your place early Here

Hi guys!
Finally I got home and now it's my turn to write something. I must say I had the weekend of my life. Thanks to Tony for making it happen. And a thanks to his wife for cooking us some great meals.
I met some funtastic people over there and look forevard to see you again as soon as possible (but please don't be angry if I don't remmember your name right away - remember I met about 25 new people at the same time ).
Tony has already posted some photos of mine, but I will post some more later. So stay tuned for more.
Cheers, Nik

Wills excellent carving skills produced the dead wood on this Yew
Tony was on a mission to finish the Yew, so he decided that Nic Rozman and i should take a side of the tree, he would take the top, and that we should Wire every branch to the Tip
Then he set about styling it........ but i never got a photo of the finished Product...... gutted......

Lost Saw
Hi,
Can anyone who attended the Burrs event this year please check if they have accidently picked up my saw?
The wooden handle and blade measure roughly 6-7 inches each.
I cant remember if it was marked with anything or not, if it was, its likely to be a colourful childrens plaster with balloons or fish on it!!
I only used it once at the event to cut the top off a polystyrene box. I was using it at the hatch at the kitchen where Carolyn served up our food.
It's not worth much but has sentimental value as it was given to me as part of a tool collection from my Uncle.
I'll gladly pay postage to have it returned, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Lost Saw
Have checked my tool bag and it's not there. Faisal is missing a set of Japanese cutters too but there were so many tools doing the rounds, it is easy to pack up the wrong ones.

If I remember right Tony found two tools that were left there.

The 'tools' that were found are VERY poor wire cutters and a scissors with red handles... NOT bonsai type.
nothing else has been found as yet.
