Hi IBC.
this is a Streblus asper that I let grew wild.-forest and raft.

before
forest/ raft Dsc_0927

after
forest/ raft Dsc_0926

a few more refinement works then "pot session". I'll lower the soil line too to give more emphasis on the interconnected root system.

regards,
jun Smile

If I may offer a suggestion. When you see a clump of trees in or near a forest, the outer trees tend to lean outward toward the light. When we make a group planting, it is customary to have the same effect. At the left side of your group, the end tree is sticking pretty much straight up. I would tilt it a wee bit to the left. There is a little tree at the right end that is crossing another tree & leaning toward the center. I would push that one so it leans to the right.
