Another Sunday at the Dragons Lair

Another interesting day with the Dragons and friends.
Jerry ran over some ideas for this Hawthorn



The questions were where was the best front and where to go with the style of the final image

The main problem is the area between the 2 main foliage areas

After a few years of trying to produce buds in this area nothing has appeared, sods law!! no problem any where else. So do we take this upper area off or air layer it off or, if it is going to go do we try trunk splitting and heavy bending to bring the top foliage close to the bottom area?

Thee tree was far to heavy on top and after throwing a lot of ideas about Mike went to work.

Mike did'ent stop at one Larch today he also styled this on, I have not got the before but this is the result

Andy spent some time sorting out a Juniper that he had of Roy at the boot sale

I think a good day was had by all. I can not wait to tackle more larch this sunday

Yes it was a good day,I was very impressed with your styling of both of the Larch

I spent today working with Andy in his garden, he has got a very nice Ceder coming along and some great accents under way
