Boxwood from nursery stock

Thought I would post a few photos of my boxwood as it progresses. This boxwood was purchased from Home Depot for $6.
This is the photo of it before anything had been done.

This one is after it's first styling.

And this is the most current photo with it in it's training pot. It is budding like crazy now too.

I'd say you're on your way! Nice job. I've found some good stuff at Lowes and Home Depot. You just have to find it and get it out of there before they kill it.

How large in the tree? If under 5 inches, you might want to consider cutting it back a bit more and creating a nice little mame.

Its about 7-8 inches tall.

Nice one. Try to do the clip'n'grow technique.

I think it'll develop into a nice little shohin sized tree. I'll post an update next year when it gets re-potted.
