Great post Peter. The bonsai world should be forever in your debt for the meaningful content that you share with us.

thanks for the compliment.
But, as you can see the interest in old pots, and interest in knowledge pot is very low. Everything is still a pioneering work and maybe get into the next generation of a meaning. Knowledge of Bonsai is located in the western world with approximately 100% to the knowledge about bonsai pots in my experience is around 30%. Only when both are at 100%, we are capable of harmonious bonsai compositions to create, whether in old or new style.
