sharing a bougainvillea work in progress. getting close !! this tree is one of the better bougainvillea I've collected because it possesses most of the desirable features for good bonsai. age (approx 80 yrs per the woman whose father planted the bougainvillea as a landscape tree ), powerful well distributed nebari, rugged fissured bark, great movement over the entire trunk line, extreme natural taper, natural deadwood. some pictures before and after today's pruning.
