wow nice. stunning transformation. these pictures is challenging me to do the same for my retusa which i only had for 1.4 years. thanks for posting the pics.

The style looks great. You've gotten small leaves which adds to the design

Martin, that is a BEAUTIFUL little ficus!! You've done an amazing job - but now you need an amazing pot.

Well, since you asked - NO! But please understand this is just my feeling. I see a beautiful little tree with fine details. Your pot is too big, too course and too crude for such a tree, in my opinion. I think it's better for kusamono than a bonsai as good as this. A while back there were a lot of pictures of a beautiful shohin exhibition in Taiwan, and another in the UK. These shohin were in amazing pots.
I think you should do something like this...
