My First Yamadori Cypress
Here is my first Yamadori Cypress. The nebari used to be over 24" wide, but the right side was all rotten. Last year I decided to remove the right side and carve it out a little. Now its over 24" tall, 14" wide nebari, but tremendous movement and taper. This winter I plan on placing it in a nice Tokoname pot and wait for more branching. I still need to carve the right side more but everything in due time. I am enjoying the Journey.

Hey Hiram
I really like the way this tree is heading. Good job and keep us posted.

nice tree. Cypress are my one of my favorite bonsai to look at, I just need to wait for s. fla collecting season to come around (and find somewhere to collect). I recently stuck a few nursery trees in the ground, but it'll be years before they're worth digging out.
