Re: Pitanga Yamadori
The Surinam Cherry, Brazilian Cherry, or Cayenne Cherry (Eugenia uniflora) is a plant in the family Myrtaceae, native to tropical America. Known as Pitanga throughout Brazil or Ñangapirí in surrounding countries,
I have a couple of these, smaller than yours. I have not tried to work with them much. The growth seems difficult to control. They are sometimes found in warmer areas of Florida and will bare fruit, but none of my potted plants have had flowers or fruit.
