Dear Friends

I won this azalea, which has both a neck and I would like suggestions.

Height: 1.60 cm
Trunk diameter: 13cm in circumference

Hi Anderson.

I don't think this is a satsuki, but rather a Southern Indian hybrid (indica azalea). Looks like 'Formosa'.

I would plant it in the ground now. Unless you plan to keep it in the literati style, start pruning to chase growth down. Actually, air layering would possibly be a better alternative. Most azaleas seem to bud back fairly well in the right conditions, foremost of which would likely be filtered light or morning sun.
