My bonsai seems to be having an extra stem.

my Bonsai (Carmona) has an extra stem coming out of it's side I want to know if i could cut it as it makes my bonsai look less appealing. I did some research but found nothing.

The avatar is pretty small, so I don't see a "stem" other than the main trunk, but yes, if you don't want it get rid of it.

And from my young eyes, the tree in the avatar looks like a Ficus, not a Fukien.

the bonsai shopkeeper told me it's carmona (Fukien).
but he might be wrong as he seemed to be a bit awkward.

That's a ficus, not a Fukien tea, like the picture in my avatar. And yes, it needs a trimming.
