Shohin willow leaf ficus

Here is a shohin willow leaf ficus that I have had a little over 3 years now. I kept it in a small bonsai pot for about a year after I purchased it and then I was advised to place it in a large and shallow pot, which I did. I grew it in about an inch and a half of soil for 2 years which made the root flare develop rapidly in a relatively short period of time. The branching had also developed quite nicely with very little wiring. I had the perfect pot for it so I decided to place it in a beautiful oval bonsai pot last weekend. The tree is exactly 8 1/2 inches in height with a 4 inch nebari. I am growing about 7 trees in large and shallow pots and hope to have more trees of this quality in the near future.
