Holiday visit

We've had a full house for the last 2 weeks. My daughter from St. Pete, Fl, along with two of her children, Jacqui (10) and Henri (16+), and my son from Durham, NC.

We adults just look like the carewarn people we are, but the kids are something else. Henri is at home in the Gulf of Mexico and the bays and inlets along Florida's west coast, but mountain rivers are new to him. So he had to give it a try:



While little Jacqui tends toward the fashionista, so she borrowed one of her grandmother's hats and explored an abandoned farm not far from us:

I don't have grandchildren yet, but these photos show such precious moments of happiness that I finally will think that raising kids was worth it
