Both are lovely mountain images.

Some thoughts;
Of course, when a stone is wet some parts of the shape are better to see and gives us the chance to discover new aspects,
but other parts are not good visible, (because of the dominant light reflection some parts are not readable).
Because it is the display of the image of a mountain and not of a rock, i feel to say,
a mountain in the rain has a different feeling then this wet stone.
Some natural shine would be fine to capture the true to nature atmosphere.
I am aware that this is also a problem of the two dimensional and the lighting in making pictures of an object with a dull surface,
a lot of the fine shape of a stone is often not be visible.
By the way i feel your pictures are fine.

And next article , I will take pictures of the mountain - Stone there are NO Baby Oil , NO Water ... We will see the natural patina on the surface of the stone...

Hi Hun'g Trán,
The stone gives me the impression of an old volcano with a crater lake.
It reminds me also of a spot in the Mont Blanc mountains in the European alps,
that place where i climbed to on the Italiën side of the mountain is called the German saddle.
Personally i would have waited with taking a picture till also the rim of the stone had dried.
