Hello people I want to show you that I have a yew tree shaped 4 years ago. Today I reworked the yew.

Great styling again Karl. I have a couple of questions. Do you always style Yews at this time of year? I find the new foliage is easily damaged. Why have you left sections of dead bark on the tree?

Hi will, good question. I know it is not the best time for the yew is very strong and can well to bear this style. The bark is not dead it is connected to a root with the living trunk.
Thank you for your interest in my work.

Hi Rob, I studied many pictures of dead wood of yew. On very old yew, the dead wood looks very spooky. It was a lot of work with carving and crafted with the wood- grain. In the picture can be not seen the fine details to it must be in real see.
Thank you for your interest in my work. Can you remind yourself this Yew, you were judge competition 2007 at art of bonsai
