Chris you are getting faster with your show posts.
Another good and enjoyable day at the Exmouth show.
I only took a few pictures, once again variable lighting conditions from poor to very poor.
Chris's fine larch group.
My cascade larch.
My viewing stone.
Accent.
Mark Cooper had his camera in action. I'm looking forwards to seeing his post here soon.
Many more fine trees to view, not least Swindon's display, Bob B's Mame display and Mark and Ritta's shohin groups.

What a lovely show! My favorite is the cascade larch with trout accent and waterfall scroll; very transcending - brilliant! All of the trees are beautiful. Thanks everyone for posting pics of this show. I would love to visit the UK!
Best,
Todd

Re: Exmouth South West Bonsai Show
As you can see my older fatter twin visited the show!
He says he enjoyed it especially meeting MY friends there.
Pity the weather was such a pig, it is hoped that the Phoenix group will be able to support this event next year
There were some good quality trees on display and the event was thoroughly enjoyed bymyself I mean my uglier fat brother

Well done to every last man jack of ye. Looks like you had a cracking show, and it's nice to see some trees we haven't seen before.
I was particularly impressed by Roy's Pine, having watched him tinkering with it at Burrs last year. As for his excellent windswept Hawthorn, I know a man with one to rival it! And I'm going to keep working on him until it's mine!
Congratulations again to all concerned.

Re: Exmouth South West Bonsai Show
hi everyone, great to find you (thanks for the invite Dragon ! )
great show, nice to meet up with you all again this year, and to meeting new people too. Its hats off to Roger for pulling the whole south west together into getting our trees on show under one roof, well done and thanks m8 for the time and effort you put into the south west bonsai scene.
it was nice to bring my hinoki out from deepest darkest Cornwall for the first time and thanks for the comments about her, and Dans observations of the relation between the tree, branches and the pot were both new to me and made a lot of sense....thanks.....I love that lonicera too ! very very tidy and looks good year after year.
hats off for keeping a few flowers on the satsukis, I gave up a week before and took all the flowers off my big one! - next years show is a few weeks earlier though so less stressfull trying to hold them back.
SW Talent.............that was certainly well found material !!!!!!!!!!!! 3-4ft across flat Junipers certainly caused a few 'omg' moments as I didnt want to style another semi/cascade again this year and they all wanted to be one! Once i got a couple of guy wires to curve and raise the trunk nicely there was enough small finer branches to build the top and create a couple of dropping branches to balance it all off. It's amazing how the temperature seems to rise once the clock starts ticking.........
See you at the Bristol members trees show.....
