Martin,
Very nice work. You have brought this tree along very, very well.

Very nice Martin!
I like your tree... It looks better than the ficus trees from that guy (I think its Jun) in the Philippines!
But seriously, it is a very nice composition. congratulations for the good progress.
regards,
jun

Martin,
It´s simply amazing to see the results of your work -it reflects some of the cardinal virtues of a good real bonsaist: love and patience. I´d like to mention that the design is not one of the usual ones. Ficus is a very strong species and it´s a shame I don´t have more than one or two in my collection at the moment (I live in El Salvador).
My respect and warm regards to you, my friend .

Its interesting that you've been able to train to that nice shallow pot since 2004! Also amazing is the leaf reduction. I like the mass of the rock, the slender snake like roots of the tree and the shallow pot, these three elements together in the proportion you have crafted them makes this a great work of living art.

Hi Martin,
I like you ficus, very nice. I was looking at your little boy who seems to be having a good time next to your tree. There is a straight row of small stones on the table in front of him. Did he line up those stones? If so, he has an artistic eye!
Best,
Todd

Nice Fig! Patience indeed! I just started a similar project a couple months ago with a willow leaf fig. It is a really young now, so I think it will take a long time for it to develop nicely. Good work!
