Elm Identification
I have an elm from this year's collection which has an interesting characteristic. I have looked at all of the species id and still have lots of questions. This one has distinct wings like Ulmus Alata but could be Pumilla or a hybrid - Ulmus Alata is unusual in Europe but some hybrids were inported in the early 1900's. Can any of the elm experst out there give me some help in establishing a firmer id. The leaf size is tiny but witha years worth of establishment extends to about 4cm but no more.
