Juniperus sabina "old deadwood" -first styling 2011 (owner Mirek Š.)
Hi all
The owner is Mirek. The tree has a collection of three years.
Today I worked the first styling.
The dominant tree in the dead wood is amazing. Unfortunately photo quality is not the end (headlights did not work).
Later I will show a better picture.

hi Pavel,
the material is fantastic - I think there is a slightly better front in it though.......the first of the newest three pictures (with the slight turn) shows amazing trunk curves all over while making the big straight jin less obvious. The front in the other pictures is dominated by that straight flat deadwood branch visually cutting the tree in half, which is a shame as every other part of the tree has beautiful curves and movement.
The first of the recent pictures makes you want to look deeper into the trunk as your eyes dont get drawn by the big jin.
But thats just my first impression - it really is a lovely piece of material
Cheers Marcus

Thank you Marcus for nice coments.
Yes, we think strong to remove the jin. Very attracted to eyes. But first I want to try to make holes and jin fine structure in motion. Then, the next consideration.

hi Pavel,
yes, i thought you would also be thinking of working the jin - to make holes and make it appear curving would be a very good idea and worth trying first.
it could be hollowed out from behind and a strong copper wire put inside too, then a curve could be made in it that would stay and the wire would not be seen.
cheers Marcus

I think that the curve in the hole, could induce movement of the eyes.
