Zelkova serrata plants
Hi,
on November 23, 2010 began to stratify a Zelkova seeds, if I remember specifically 50.
After spending the winter in the fridge, February 21, 2011, I planted all in a pot together and then I put them outside in full sun.
The weeks that followed were germinating seeds:
Little by little stretching:
And now they are as like follows:
I should cut the tap root and I plant them in individual pots?
When should I food them? Akadama are at 100%.
Sorry for my English!
Greetings and thanks

I agree with Iris. I have Bonsai International magazine 1994 strictly on Zelkova and it says to transplant next year. Definitely start feeding now. If you can get your hands on International Bonsai 1994 Issue #3, I highly recommend it.

Hi,
better late than never, I'm so sorry by this strength period without reply!I will try to participate more often although participate here for me it is a bit difficult for my English : )
Here they have the 2 Zelkovas serratas from the above photographies that I have nowadays in my terrace. I took the best ones, the only 2 that their trunk was splitted in two branches naturally without pruning.
Cheers from Barcelona!
