Great pictures on what looks like a good day. Anytime you go to the Arboretum is a good day!
Are you going to the PBA show? I plan to be there on May 6th. Maybe we will see each other.

It's the Potomac Bonsai Association show, it will take place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of May at the National Arboretum with 2 parts the regular anual and the juried show. Don't miss it if you have a chance since there will be a lot of vendors and all related bonsai materials to choose from

These are wonderfull pics, and its nice to see that even at the national arboretum they too leave thier garden hose out all over the ground
Reminds me of my first trip to the Montreal botanical gardens when I was 16, they had a birch forest planting in the bonsai garden that was the size of a coffee table! I can still see it in my mind 17 years later!

By thime I visited the garden they were watering the trees, I guest that's why you see these hooses hanging out.
