cork bark on a ixora...

This is a ixora I recently worked on. Still has a long way to go. I love it's bark!

What a great blank slate, trick is your gonna have to come up with a style and branching to compete with that bark! What great Bark!

is that the natural appearance of that bark? very nice.
I got lot of ixora, but none like the bark your tree have.

Jun...I have never seen this type of bark on ixora either! Got this and another tree from a local nursery. The bark looks yamadori'ish though! Now to develop branches with patience since they are slow growers. Till then....
