Outdoor shohin display stand?

Anyone know of a source for an outdoor shohin display stand?

I've got several shohin I keep out on my deck, and I'd love to have a nice display stand
for them. I'd guess it'd have to be plastic, bamboo, etc., to weather the outdoors.

Yeah, I tried to build one but it came out looking like a 6 yr. old did it. I simply don't have
the tools or the skills to build one.

This one, last seen at the National Arboretum, is cast iron. If you know an iron monger or blacksmith you might have one made.

You might take Jim's picture to a place that makes iron hand-rails for outdoor steps for homes.

Why not try bricks?

You could do what ever you want...size and shape of the stand...size, shape, height of each individual platform...relatively easy to change design...accomodate any number of plants.

Get bricks at any home and garden center...$0.25 each and up.

bonsaistud - I had the exact same thought today while looking through bricks and stones in the local Lowe's garden center.
