Springtime in Dallas
Been reading where there's still winter going in some parts of the U.S., but not here in North Central Texas. After our last hard freeze in mid Feb. springtime came in with a vengence. Lower 70s went right up to upper 70s and then mid 80s. By the end of Feb our trees were already budding out. Wonderful sunny skies but we're in need of some desperate rain.
Anyway, thought I would post a few pics of some of my springtime bonsai. The sugar maple and Japanese elm are in full bloom, and all of the JBPs are showing good healthy candles while the junipers are full of new foliage also.
Why even my usually late to bud bald cypress is even budding early this year.

Very nice trees Thomas... thanks for sharing. I really liked the second, and the last two trees.
