Thanks, Ravi Ji.
No plans for now. Need to grow some more and then think of styling.
I always admired Tony's Fatguy hawthorn and will think of something on the same lines.
Regards,
Faisal (Dilli Wala)

HI Faisal,
thanks for the quick one. Shall look forward to the progression in the months/years to come. Wising you good luck with this excellent material. Besides being Dilli Wala (the one from Delhi) I am sure you are a Dil wala (one with a heart) too.... Liked the lyrical ring and couldn't resist it...

Hi Sunip,
Glad you like the tree. I will try to take some more pictures soon.
You don't good material easily. And when you do come across some nice ones, They're very expensive.
Just last night I said something to my wife and I said if we stop doing that, we could save at least £750 a year.
Before I even finished what I was saying, she goes if YOU stop spending money on those trees,
we could save at least £10,000 a year.
So, they're not THAT easy to get :-)
Cheers,
Faisal

Re: FATGUY OF THE SOUTH
Very nice Hawthorn you have there. The top looks a bit "awkward" but the movement is great.

Re: FATGUY OF THE SOUTH
Thanks, Will.
I'm sure with time and guidance from more experienced, the top can be sorted out.
I think it's the trunk thats more important.

Are you trying to put him off Sunip? He's quite an old man as it is. Or is it a ploy to get him to sell it on?? Ok....good idea........35 years at least Faz

WOWW Dorothy,
Thank you so much for doing a fantastic virtual.
I'll be happiest even if I'm able to achieve 50% of what you've proposed.
Regards,
Faisal

However due to Dorethy's magnificent virtual, Faizal has a big dream now, when it turn out to develop in a nightmare, i am humbly willing to take over, thank you for that idea Will.
Regards, Sunip
I was thinking of Tony's fat guy who is even for a hawthorn slow (but then, everything seems to be hard up there)sunip wrote:dorothy7774 wrote:Very nice tree, Faisal! Perhaps something like that in 10+ years?
