Ponderosa Pine first styling

This tree was collected several years ago by Andy Smith. He has estimated its age at around 125 years. I bought it last year, and I decided to give it its first styling.

I decided that something in this area would be the best front:

Obviously I have a long way to go, but I'm happy to hear any thoughts anyone may have. Thanks very much for looking.

That's a pretty good and safe start. Let's see how well the needles reduce.

The bark texture is great.
