Spring '11, Central Virginia Bonsai Society symposium a hit!

I just got home from a full day of BONSAI!!!! Bill Valavanis was the headliner and presented a great lecture and demo on pines and pyracantha. A workshop followed after lunch. The raffles were great and ("embarrassed") I won five items. Folks were asking "who's this new guy around here winning everything in site?" I was hoping to win some things and did!
Julian Adams of Adams Bonsai and the CVBS did a very nice job with their symposuim. Great people, great learning, great material!

It was nice to meet you and I'm glad you enjoyed my program and workshop on Pine Bonsai. Here is a photo taken during the workshop with you watching in the rear.
