Re: pinus sylvestre
Could you clean it up a bit and post some more pics of it from other sides? I can't clearly make out the bottom because of the tangle.

Hi Casper,
A very good potensai no two ways about it. However what makes design suggestions very difficult is that the tree is reasonably complex atleast from the pics you have posted. However you might want to work on the tree like this (poorly made) virtual suggests....
I hope you get the idea
Regards
Ravi

Pinus Silvestre
Hello Casper,
I like the lower trunk flow.
If you go for the option of Ravi with that challenging yn part, my first question is
how long is the tree in a pot?
I know trees in this condition are being styled in workshops but i would give it some more time.
When those guy wires are still necessary, it is not rooted enough to style the tree i feel.
From the pictures, showing one side, is see two branches that give the tree its live.
The lower branch needs back budding and some bending near the trunk
if you not want a spaghetti branch.
My approach would be a slow one, meaning;
feeding (give him some old cow manure, they love it)
back budding
bending in stages.
regards, Sunip;)

Hi Sunip,
What you say makes a lot of sense and is very valid. What I have suggested is the final design.... which is to be arrived at after taking one step at a time...
Dorothy,
Missing your virts for sometime now but am glad you agree with my suggested design
