Scot's Pine Progression 1998 - 2010
Happy New Year to you all
I have just added a new Case Study to our club webiste/blog if anyone wants a look.
Here is the tree in 2010/11 and 1998.
Here's a 360 of the tree. Sorry it jumps! My son's hand a a tad heavy on the turntable.
and a video for good measure.
For a full history of the tree visit the case study here: Scot's Pine Progression 1998 - 2010
I'm trying to get more of our club members to submit trees for this treatment on the site. I think it's a great way to view the history of a bonsai no matter how short and it allows for flash and video fun as well.

Happy New Year Ian!
I loved your video and learn much about your tree. It gave me some ideas to look at a couple of my trees for "Informal to Cascade" potential.
My wife liked the soundtrack from American Beauty.
Best, Todd

Is the color of the needles due to the lighting?

Thanks Guys.
Jim, Yes the lighting not the tree.
Todd, I just love that movie and the soundtrack too.
Neil, It's time consuming to gather the photos but well worth it in my view. I've still to get a better camera, lighting and a steadier turntable though I have a few more in the pipeline and I added some others to our club 360 gallery. A few of the IBC'er have been PMing me for the template and instructions and what I cobbled together seems to have worked. This way I let them take the photos and I add them to our gallery
