Excellent presentation work Ian. The Beech in pic 4 is something else. You've posted this one before haven't you?

Chris,

The display is just a small exhibition and demo at a Dobbie's Garden Centre in Lisburn, County Down. We're just looking for new members and hoping to have a great days craic bounce

Peter,
Yes, I just love that beech too. Wish it was mine. Here's the nebari.

Will,

Yes, I've posted it before. Belongs to Josh, an old hand in our club.

Here's a few of the trees in a 360 video clip. My first attempt at making a video clip movie.

Great collection and fantastic video. Who is the author of that soundtrack? It really builds climate and brings emotions.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for sharing the wonderful pics and more importantly the Video in 3D.

More than a year ago there was a spirited discussion on the Art of Bonsai site about 3D being the future of Bonsai display where all is laid bare and nothing could be hidden. Your Videos do just that. I'm glad to see the trees in 360 Degrees or 3D if you can so call them. The effect these images bring out is the complete beauty of the trees.

And BTW I enjoyed the music immensely. No wonder Hans is an Oscar winner for his scores.....

Regards

Oh, that's it, I knew that I've heard it before. Thank You.
Yes, I also regards that bonsai shown in 3D gives more true unformation about real appearance of a tree. There's no place for hiding mistakes Smile

Hi,

FWIW, you can't view this video in Germany ... tried various proxies, but their filters outsmarted them.

This video contains content from UMG. It is not available in your country.

OK, that would explain it:

Sorry, Germany is the only country to block it! I'm still getting used to this youtube lark and all the in's and out's of it!!

Thanks Will.

We had our club meeting last night and got 6 new members! I think this was down to the display. The garden Centre has also asked us back and have given us a date, me thinks we made them money lol.
