New pot for an old rock
I have had this rock for about 8-10yrs now, it is as found in northwest Victoria Aust. For me the appeal is more about the decades old lichens, than the rock shape itself. Amongst the cracked pieces from my last firing of pots was this one, it is bedded in crushed sandstone. I am not sure yet if I like the combination of pot & rock or not.

Forgot to mention the hollow goes right thru the rock & comes out at the base of the front, in line with the crack in the pot, it is the dark spot just above soil line.

Re: New pot for an old rock
Hi Matt
Very interesting stone, I would like to see it on end with the hole showing to the front.
Regards Chris
