FALL WIREING
tHERE Are some branches on my elm trees that i want to wire and spred out...if i wire them now ,let the wire stay over winter,,will they set or do you think it will harm the trees???should it be done after leaf drop or wait till next year???thanks for your opion...john

Fall Wiring
You can wire in the fall with the leaves off, but the branches will not set much until they start growing again. Remove he wires when they just begin to cut in a tiny bit.
