SOME LATE SUMMER BONSAI FUN DURING A SMALL WORKSHOP IN MY GARDEN.
Hi everybody,
yesterday I had the privilege to stage a small workshop for 3 members of the Bonsaishop Iss Hogai. Henk Steneker, Rene Bakker and Monique van Ommen had to make a long 2,5 hour trip to my garden, but were welcomed by some lovely sunshine, coffee and warm Dutch apple-flaps! We started at 10 and only stopped for a very welcome lunch we enjoyed in the sun. Around 5 it was time to stop after a long days work. I had great fun with these tree eager workers and I am sure that we will do this again in the future! Here are some pictures to give you a impression!
Below: Discussing Monique's tree. Om the left you see the Yew stump that Rene brought along.
Below: WOOOOHOOOOO!!! I told Rene: bring your own power tools, but this is madness!
Below: A other big Yew that Henk brought along.
Below : Rene's Yew.
Below: Moniques Juniper.
Below: Henk's Juniper. He did a realy good job on this Juni!
Hope you enjoyed this impresion of a great Bonsai day among friends!?
Cheers,
Hans van Meer.

PS: I'm a little jealous though...., because in Greece we are just starting our bonsai club and have not yet opportunities of this level more often. But we all hope we will advance soon enough to achieve something similar to this!

Nice, but I would rather have abrikozeflappen (apricot-flaps its a kind of pastry).
kind regards
