Bonsai video from Japan

And I am sorry this is in Danish only. But enjoy the images anyway, featuring some Japanese bonsai famous.
Its about bonsai, Buddhism and martial arts.
I produced this video a little time ago, but now uploaded it at YouTube, and thought some here would enjoy the pictures and the Danish language

PS: if we could only knew danish language....

Nice pictures, but one must know that the link between bonsai, japanese martial arts and buddhism is a recent construct mostly build by westerners.
People interested in this problem can read this academic article by Yamada Shôji. The same has authored "Shots in the dark" which is a deeper study of this phenomenon, and shows very clearly too how the connection between Zen and the garden of the Ryoanji is also something that originates around WWII.
