help identifying please

hi everybody ,please look at a post i made on jul 09 < grasiow a new tree from thailand > and see if anybody knows the scientific name, they grow in north east thailand near rivers like lots of water and the leaf looks similar to tamarind . also do they grow anywhere else ? thank you , john

I don't think anyone can help you until we see some flowers and/or seed pods - and maybe not even then. Does it have thorns? It's hard to make ID's by such limited pictures, and the local name obviously means nothing to those of us who live half a world away. This is so outside the comfort zone of the majority of us here that you may have to find someone in Thailand who really knows their taxonomy to help you. So much of what people like you show us is completely new, and we go by what YOU say about it.
